If you feel a sudden hankering for the spices and heat and momos of Nepalese cuisine, we suggest you saunder to Jordan to find yourself at Manakamana Nepali Restaurant, an eatery at the top of its game for traditional Nepalese dishes.

Those seeking true Napalese flavours, the sukuti chatpate (HKD65) is a dish we recommend ordering, featuring marinated dried buffalo meat with puffed rice and dry noodles. In the momo section, you must try either their chilli soup-drenched jhol momo (HKD70) or their chilli momo (HKD88), wrapped in a sticky chilli sauce.

Manakamana Nepali Restaurant also serves Indian cuisine, embracing the same flavours shared over the two nations. Their paneer butter masala (HKD88), chicken pakora (HKD65), and lamb seekh kebab (HKD125) are crowd favourites.

To claim a seat, head early on weekend nights at around 6PM before the late night rush begins. The restaurant only holds 22 seats on their ground floor and 12 on the first floor.
