Durian pizza – have you ever tried it before? No? Now is your chance to do so with the imminent arrival of the La César pizzeria chain to Tsuen Wan this spring.

Founded in Shenzhen in 2010, the chain boasts more than 80 outlets across the border and throughout Mainland China, well known for its durian toppings and other inventive plates.

Signatures include the Three Musketeers durian pizza, featuring three types of Southeast Asian durian, and Double Pulp durian pizza, pairing up durian and pineapple on a heavily cheesy pie. The durian comes from Malaysia and Thailand.

The restaurant chain also boasts an assortment of other durian dishes, such as a five-variety durian tasting platter, durian cheong fun, and durian milk ice cream.

Boarding has gone up for their first Hong Kong store at Citywalk mall in Tsuen Wan, with more information to come soon!
