MICHELIN Guide Hong Kong has announced a record nine new entrants as “recommended restaurants” this February 2025 in the run-up to the awards ceremony to be hosted on Mar. 13.
The new venues join the guide as recommended spots to visit whilst dining in Hong Kong, from a strong variety of casual eats to fancier destinations.
Queue-heavy Thai Pai Dong in Jordan joins the pack, offering buzzy Thai plates in a space styled after a dai pai dong. Close by, Heartwarming’s branch location in Prince Edward stocks a strong selection of black sesame sweets. And in the north of the city, Banana Boy brings Thai roti packed with sugar to Yuen Long.
In Central, Magistracy Dining Room clinches a recommended title for its opulence and refined Euro-British dining approach. Art & Taste earns its entrance for its quality Taiwanese dishes. Snack Baby, a few blocks away, stocks funky flavours of gelato and cocktails to match.
JEE brings a clashing of Western and Cantonese cooking styles to present boisterous flavours from this side of the world. Ankôma serves a tasting menu and à-la-carte dining with a similar approach. Hung’s Delicacies dishes out Chiu Chow cuisine in a new location in Causeway Bay.
