Following a string of pop-ups these past few years across Hong Kong, beloved Japanese dessert brand Mr. CHEESECAKE, founded in 2018 in Tokyo by chef Koji Tamura, is opening its first brick-and-mortar location in the city in Causeway Bay.

The permanent shop is set to debut at Hysan Place on Nov 28, showcasing the bakery’s signature melt-in-the-mouth classic cheesecake (HKD349) accented with vanilla, lemon, and tonka bean alongside festive cheesecake flavours and varieties that are exclusive to Hong Kong, including praline pistachio (HKD449), matcha (HKD395), and milk tea (HKD395).

Amongst the items being unveiled for the first time in Hong Kong is a new line of cup-style cheesecake, Mr. CHEESECAKE Petit, featuring two layers: a firm baked top crowning a half-baked, creamy cheesecake base. This product is available in classic (HKD63), matcha (HKD69), and cream brew coffee (HKD69) flavours.
