Founded in Taiwan in 2018 by award-winning Taiwanese bartender Angus Zou and Hong Kong’s very own mixology master Antonio Lai, the pair also brought the Draft Land concept to Hong Kong six years ago, first opening in Central.
Draft Land specialises in top-notch cocktails on tap that are also sustainable and affordable. At the new Causeway Bay outpost, there are 20 curated beverage options available on tap, showcasing both mocktails (from HKD70) and cocktails (from HKD90) in a diverse range of flavours and ABVs. If you don’t know where to start, feel free to sample from the taps before making your pick, be it a signature Oolong Tea Collins, Guk Bou, Señorita Picante, or a seasonal special.
Two exclusive drinks headline at the new Causeway Bay location – Yuwasabi (HKD100), a zesty non-alcoholic concoction blending yuzu, shiso, and wasabi, and the vodka-based cocktail Watercress Honey (HKD110), inspired by Hong Kong’s cha chaan teng culture with its mix of herbal tea, watercress, and honey.
Draft Land Causeway Bay has partnered with nearby teppanyaki eatery Hungry Monkey to offer a selection of wallet-friendly Japanese-inspired bar bites to pair with their drinks. These plates include fried eggplant bites (HKD58), deep-fried chicken wings (HKD78), and DL fried noodles (HKD78).
To extend the food and cocktail fun, Draft Land has launched a cocktail-pairing food map that spotlights six dishes from neighbouring Tang Lung Street eateries, each matched with a craft cocktail. If you drink all six tipples and collect a corresponding stamp for each, you’ll be rewarded with a Draft Land tote bag.
