Causeway Bay boutique hotel Lanson Place has recently reopened following a complete revamp by leading French interior designer Pierre-Yves Rochon, and with this chic French renovation comes the relaunch of the hotel’s Salon Lanson on the first floor for sophisticated wining and dining.
Open from breakfast till post-dinnertime, Salon Lanson offers an elegantly serene space where evening drinks take centre stage. In honour of the hotel’s reopening, the bar has unveiled a series of seven craft cocktails that are uniquely themed around nearby Hong Kong landmarks, with each drink accompanied by a charming postcard depicting a street scene close to the hotel.
One the menu are creative drinks like Fire Gun, described as “short, strong, and complex”, a tipple made with sake, cherry liqueur, whisky, sweet vermouth, and bitters that’s named after the iconic Noonday Gun located at the harbourfront in Causeway Bay. Leighton 133 takes its name from the hotel’s address and is a “long, citrusy, and aromatic” blend of vodka, cucumber, yuzu vinegar, cypress, and salt.
