After the world has seemingly gone crazy for the crookie, the inventive cookie-meets-croissant sugary pastry, Le Dessert is jumping on the craze with their version of the modern pastry.

The Hong Kong bakery brings homemade pecan chocolate cookie dough to the insides of a freshly baked buttery croissant. As an extra treat, Valrhona chocolate is added inside and on top for an even sweeter taste.

After Plumcot launched their version of the crookie in February with a dark chocolate chip cookie baked on top of a croissant, Le Dessert’s crookie is yet another local bakery to jump on the online trend.

The dessert can be ordered up to a day in advance, with a cut-off time of 12PM, individually (HKD50) or added to a Bakery Box with a minimum of five products for pick-up or delivery (HKD250). For more information and to order, head to Le Dessert’s website.
