Clinching the Foodie Forks 2024 Readers’ Choice – Best Restaurant award, Italian nose-to-tail steakhouse Carna at the new Mondrian hotel is a must for meat lovers. This Festa del Papà, dads can dig into a family-style brunch feast that features unlimited antipasti and pasta selections, including black truffle beef tartare and beef carpaccio. Taking centre stage in the meal is Carna’s charcoal-grilled meat platter with lamb chops, Black Angus short ribs, and a choice of dad’s favourite steak, from M5 chuck flap to Carima rib-eye. The dessert – a fusion of zeppole and tiramisu – is sure to tickle the taste buds, Italiano style.

Should Dad prefer an evening meal, Carna is also offering three special à-la-carte dishes with Father’s Day in mind. There’s a decadent pasta dish of homemade rigatoni with beef tripe, black truffle, and Pecorino (HKD328), polenta with homemade beef and pork sausage, mushroom, and tomato sauce (HKD388), and the showstopping grilled whole rack of lamb (HKD1,288).
