Judging by the photo of Grand Hyatt’s grinning culinary team, these 11 international chefs have achieved a palpable camaraderie at the five-star hotel.

The chefs hail from around the world – both local to Hong Kong and coming from Peru, Mexico, India, Italy, France, Greece, Spain, Austria, Poland, and Egypt – and their respective national cuisines are now being spotlighted at the hotel’s Grand Café.

Spearheaded by the hotel’s executive chef Nikolaos Lekkas, The Grand Chef dinner buffet, available until Aug. 31, showcases signature, authentic dishes from each chef’s respective homeland. Highlights include the hamachi ceviche from Peru by chef Abel Matos, Mexican asado rib-eye tacos by chef Eduardo Gómez, falafel by the hotel’s newly appointed Arabian cuisine specialist Mahmoud Abbas, and seafood paella from Spain courtesy of chef Nikolaos himself.

The dessert smorgasbord continues the global theme with popular confections like Spanish crema catalana, Turkish baklava, and a showstopping French tarte tropézienne by executive sous chef – pastry Thomas Cabrit.

The Grand Chef dinner buffet is priced at HKD798 for adults and HKD399 for kids aged 6–12 from Monday through Thursday and HKD848 for adults and HKD424 for kids aged 6–12 on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
