The 130-year-old Ser Wong Fun in Central is heading over to Kowloon in late February for a dinner pop-up at Holt’s Café to celebrate longevity and the quality food produced at the legendary restaurant.

On Feb. 26–27, the Rosewood Hong Kong Cantonese restaurant will be hosting Ser Wong Fun and highlighting six dishes using snake and other prized ingredients known to rejuvenate and heal.

On the menu, the deep-fried sliced snake with abalone congee and pork tripe (HKD498) is a signature Ser Wong Fun dish, fusing medicinal flavours. The braised fish head in claypot (HKD358) and steamed whole crab (HKD688) are also ones for the books.

Other dishes available during the two-night pop-up include the sautéed Qingyuan chicken with pork kidney (HKD298) and deep-fried pork spare ribs (HKD218).

Bookings are recommended as the event is expected to be a sell-out.
