The residential-heavy neighbourhood of Tseung Kwan O has grown in strength with its local dining scene as more Hong Kongers flock there to live or escape from other areas on the weekends for fresh air.
Unlike other locales in the city, the area boasts a great mix of indoor restaurants stationed in malls and restaurants that open up to the ocean or gardens dotted in this corner of New Territories.
Our guide to the best restaurants in Tseung Kwan O – called ‘TKO’ if you are a cool kid – has everything you need for your next visit or local meal around the area.
