Following the closure of private members’ club 1880 Hong Kong just six months after its debut in Quarry Bay, fine-dining restaurant Té Bo is said to be only temporarily closed, with the eatery looking for a new location in Hong Kong.

The restaurant, led by chef Sebastian Lorenzi, wrote in an Instagram post on Saturday (May 31) that it is “temporarily closed” and “we can’t wait to welcome you back, watch this space!”

Francois Ferrand, general manager of Té Bo, tells Foodie,“We are working on something for Té Bo. We should have some good news this week.”

In mid-March, the eatery earned itself an entry in the Michelin Guide as a recommended restaurant, four months after opening.

The guide lauds chef Sebastian for “… his craft in some prestigious kitchens, he reveres classical French technique and relishes Asian accents, in keeping with his eclectic background.”
