The Magic Table, a unique 3D visual dining series, is making its world premiere on Sep. 19 at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong, inviting diners on a tasty journey told through 3D storytelling and interactive magic.

Founded by US-based magicians Thommy Ten and Amélie van Tass, the pair will be hosting diners to your dining table lit up with 3D projection mapping used to tell magical stories using creative visuals and sound, and invite interaction through a magical world.

Through special optical techniques, diners are able to interact with the visuals right on the table and see their food becoming a part of the magical and mystical storytelling.

The experience can be enjoyed through four different five-course tasting menus, including The Wizzard’s Essentials (HKD1,500 pp.) including beef tartare, foie gras, and beef sirloin, and The Grand Illusion (HKD1,850 pp.) with butternut pumpkin with Oscietra caviar and beef tenderloin with lobster.

The Magic Table launches on Sep. 19 with nightly shows Wednesday to Friday from 6PM to 8PM until Sep. 30. From Oct. 1 onwards, expect two daily shows Wednesday to Friday from 6PM to 8PM and 8:30PM to 10:30PM.
