The Forest Bakery has earned itself a piece of the sweet viral pie this August with the launch of their new siu mai mille-feuille puff (HKD26).

Fusing together French and Hong Kong flavours, each puff features three plump siu mai pieces with tofu and XO sauce below, adding to the flavour exploration of the quaint dish.

Only two siu mai mille-feuille are available to purchase for each customer. If you don’t have the time to queue everyday at 12PM when their only batch is made, sit tight as this pastry item is the beginning in the chain’s Hong Kong series for creative mille-feuilles.

The new pastry is available at The Forest Bakery’s newest popup store at Cityplaza in Quarry Bay, open from now until Feb. 14, 2026. The bakery chain operates permanent stores in Ngau Tau Kok and Sha Tin’s Hong Kong Science Park.
