Hot on the heels of Steak King’s Wagyu beef wellington mooncakes becoming a viral sensation, we’re here to present you with another quirky mooncake option this Mid-Autumn season.

Caviar Cakery, a dessert concept by Royal Caviar Club, has teamed up with cheese omakase offshoot ROUCOU to dream up these supremely umami mooncakes.

The crumbly mooncakes with a cheese-cookie base feature caviar crystals embedded in a blend of Hokkaido mascarpone, white Cheddar, and Parmesan, all encased within a white chocolate shell – which sound to us like the ultimate sweet-meets-savoury Mid-Autumn indulgence.

The limited-batch caviar-cheese mooncakes (HKD498/4pcs) have an early-bird price of HKD398 until Sep. 14. Please pre-order online.
