Just about a year after the debut of The Twins Tower I in Kai Tak, the mega-sized retail complex is expanding in Q4 of 2025 and into 2026 with the opening of The Twins Tower II.

Whilst Tower I is anchored by Japanese department store SOGO, Tower II continues the Japanese focus with the launch of SNDO, an experiential retail concept envisaged by leading Japanese design studios CURIOSITY and MOMENT that features curated thematic zones.

On the F&B front, SNDO’s basement food hall Freshmart+ showcases 40 Japanese food brands spanning across sushi and sashimi, snacks and confectionery, bakery goods, and even health and wellness items, a collaboration with about 20 Japanese prefectural governments to highlight their signature products in a “miniature Japan” format.

SNDO is also set to progressively unveil more F&B brands on the upper floors. On the 12th floor this season, diners will be able to enjoy Foodhall by GG, a premium food court offering 10 dining concepts and seating for 200.

We can look forward to additional F&B venues opening their doors on the 14th and 15th floors of Tower II’s SNDO next year.
