For the first time, visitors other than groups will be able to visit the newly upgraded Hong Kong Coca-Cola-Museum, with hour-long public tours offered at three sessions (1:30PM, 3PM, and 4:30PM) on Mar. 7 at Swire Coca-Cola HK’s Sha Tin bottling plant – the tallest Coke bottling facility in the world at 147 metres high.

In celebration of Swire Coca-Cola HK’s 60th anniversary, “The Bottling Hunt” guided tours will feature a brand-new immersive time-travel concept dating back to the brand’s growth in Hong Kong since 1965.

Interactive experiences come into play by transporting visitors from Coca-Cola’s late 19th-century origins to the present day. Expect the chance to dress up in period costumes, interact with the inventor of Coca-Cola, American pharmacist Dr John Pemberton, and take part in scent challenges.

Rare Coca-Cola collectibles from different eras will also be showcased, including a Hong Kong‑themed bottle inspired by the Cheung Chau Bun Festival.

The highlight has got to be the final stop of the tour, where guests will get a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the plant’s production lines in action.

Online registration for the public tours opens from 2PM on Feb. 12, and with just 30 spots up for grabs per session, we expect the tours to fill up within a matter of minutes.
