2. ONA
The seafaring cuisine of the Mediterranean arrives at Discovery Bay’s waterfront in ONA, offering an expansive dining space to kick your feet up like they do in Europe. On the menu, we recommend their garlic butter prawn (HKD148), mix mezze platter (HKD228), Greek style lamb shank (HKD298), and beef tajine (HKD328) for a savouring of Spain, Greece, Italy, and Morocco. ONA also runs a breakfast menu from 8:30AM on weekends and public holidays if you want to spice up your day with hearty Med bites.

3. il Bel Paese
For Discovery Bay’s source of homely Italian meals, it is il Bel Paese for your answer. The restaurant, with another location in Tsim Sha Tsui, keeps things simple with dishes like baked potato gnocchi (HKD168), buffalo burrata (HKD158), diavalo pizza (HKD168), and slow cooked beef cheeks (HKD298). 4. Pachanga
Up in the North Plaza, where fewer restaurants operate than the popular Discovery Bay Plaza, Pachanga is Discovery Bay’s primary source for Mexican food. The chef specials are one to take note of here, including both the lamb barbacoa tacos (HKD188, 4pcs) and elote con avocado (HKD98). Their birria quesa-tacos (HKD168, 3pcs) and grilled chicken chimichurri (HKD228) come as fan-favourites as well.

5. Spicy Tiger
Spicy Tiger comes heavily recommended by local residents for its honest hospitality and spicy flavours that actually hit. Fan-favourites include the spicy orange garlic pork ribs (HKD188), Sichuan lamb spring rolls (HKD108), and grilled Qingjiang fish with Chengdu large red pickles (HKD388). Their lunch buffet (HKD88) includes a pick of nine rotating, spicy dishes. The restaurant design is funky, suitable for your next Instagram dinner photoshoot!

6. Ebeneezer’s Kebabs & Pizzeria
Ebeneezer’s Kebabs & Pizzeria is a staple in Discovery Bay, it has been part of the furniture for more than a decade in the Discovery Bay Plaza. Their Halal-certified menu has expanded from just kebabs now to include biryanis (HKD97 and up), tandoori (HKD128+), and Neapolitan pizza (HKD120 and up). We recommend pairing up their sourdough pizzas with their paneer butter masala (HKD98) for a flavour explosion.

7. Peony Chinese Restaurant
Peony Chinese Restaurant prides itself as Discovery Bay’s only Chinese restaurant serving Cantonese cuisine and the area’s most fancy venue. Their degustation menu (HKD568) is well suited for savouring the restaurant’s signature dishes. Beginning with signature appetisers of chilled sliced fresh abalone, barbecued Iberico pork fillet, and crispy bean curd sheet, the menu features baked crab shell, double-boiled silkie chicken soup, pan-fried scallop, braised egg noodles with fish maw, and a dessert platter.
