Soon-to-be-opened modern Vietnamese restaurant Le Le will be bringing a dash of ‘progressive Vietnamese cuisine’ to Hong Kong from this week.
Soft opening on Mar. 26, and replacing Testina on Lyndhurst Terrace, Le Le is the brainchild and passion project of ZS Hospitality founder Elizabeth Chu, the group behind Michelin-starred restaurants Whey, Feuille, and Ying Jee Club.
Le Le brings former head chef of Whey Elvin Lam and Vietnamese chef Lê Minh Đức to its kitchen for an expression of local and modern Vietnamese flavours, served in a fine-casual space.
“This commitment has motivated my sister and me to create Le Le, our most personal endeavor—a celebration of progressive Vietnamese cuisine, enriched by our Vietnamese-Chinese heritage.,” Elizabeth shared on an Instagram post announcing the project in February.
“With Le Le, we are building a stage for emerging talents to shine, moving beyond street-food stereotypes and elevating tradition through fresh, flavorful innovation. Stay tuned!”
