We’ve been huge fans of Simon Rogan’s Michelin-starred Roganic Hong Kong since it opened last year, awarding it Foodie Forks Editors’ Choice Best New Restaurant 2019 for its bespoke farm-to-table fine-dining experience at a steal of a price.

In October and November, Roganic’s acclaimed modern British cuisine by Executive Chef Oli Marlow and Head Chef Ash Salmon is being paired with cocktails by four of the 852’s leading mixologists in this new Craft & Spirit guest series.

The series kicks off on Thursday, 8 October with John Nugent of speakeasy The Diplomat. Up next it’s Arkadiusz Rybak, Director of Bars at Rosewood Hong Kong, on Thursday, 15 October, followed by Jay Khan of Oaxaca-inspired COA on Thursday, 5 November, ending with a bang on Wednesday, 18 November with Agung Prabowo of The Old Man, which is currently sitting pretty at number 2 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2020.

Each guest bartender will take over the Roganic bar for one night only, showcasing one non-alcoholic and two alcoholic cocktails ($120 each). Or, diners can choose to order the restaurant’s full tasting menu ($1,100/person), which on this occasion will include one of the guest bartender’s signature tipples.

Roganic’s to-die-for truffle pudding

Exclusive bar snacks will also be served on the nights, including pig and eel croquettes ($60/2) and truffle pudding glazed in birch sap with Berkswell Cheddar ($60/2). And if you know anything about Roganic’s buttery, savoury, oh-so-indulgent signature truffle pudding, you’ll know it’s the stuff of our dreams.
