Being one of the best sellers amongst all the soft serve chains, Smile Yoghurt is brought to you by Tony Wong, who is well known for his handmade patisseries. With a focus on delicacy and preciseness, their yoghurt is made with a unique recipe of high quality Greek Yogurt without adding any cream. They also pay high attention to the presentation which ends up resembling a wide variety of different parfaits that include chocolate, coffee, pastries, fruits and compotes. Some house-made options are also available, such as pocky biscuit sticks, palmier cookies, granolas and honey comb.
Occasionally, they will promote new creations named after their shop locations. I sampled a Lee Garden version with a pink theme colour.
A generous serving of tart creamy yoghurt comes with fresh strawberries and homemade crumb. Not to mention a deliciously light layer of fragrant rose panna cotta, with a truly refreshing scoop of strawberry basil sorbet hidden within the treat. The parfait is finished off with a few white chocolate decorations, edible diamonds and gold flakes, as well as some popping lychee jelly pearls.
Sometimes, I prefer to create my own yoghurt sundae with some of my favourite toppings: almond crisp, granola, blueberries, banana passion fruit compote. The options are endless!
