Lau Haa Hot Pot Restaurant might be one of the city’s most unique hotpot offerings, dressed in an old 1970s Hong Kong interior and matched with retro signage, relics, and posters.

Rare and unique meat and seafood hotpot ingredients can be enjoyed at the restaurant. The top picks are fish maw, grass carp belly, coral clams, black beef stomach, ox throat, and fresh goose intestines.

More than 20 hotpot bases are available to select at the restaurant, from Asian clam with pork-bone broth and fish maw stock to Chongqing spicy stock and their special Lau Haa chicken stock.

The hotpot restaurant has gained notoriety online for its vibrant neon sign on Lockhart Road, reading 樓下火鍋飯店 (underground hotpot restaurant).

Like anywhere popular in Hong Kong, we recommend heading to the restaurant before 6PM nightly to have your best chance of securing a table.
