Popular Japanese burger chain 肉肉大米 (Niku Niku Oh! Kome) is opening its first Hong Kong store in Q3, as reported by the Hong Kong Economic Times.
The chain will break ground at Sha Tin’s New Town Plaza mall complex, where boarding has gone up to notify salivating diners.
The news of Niku Niku Oh! Kome, a favourite of locals venturing north to Shenzhen to try their freshly minced and pan-fried burger and rice combinations, entering Hong Kong comes after Hikiniku To Come opened its first store in Hong Kong in May.
With a branch located at the gourmand-centric COCO Park mall in Shenzhen, amongst two other Shenzhen locations, diners can enjoy well-seasoned burgers seared on hot plates or topped on rice with egg yolk for a classic Japanese experience.
One of the Shenzhen set meals includes two hamburger steaks and an onsen egg, along with broccoli, rice, and miso soup, for just RMB68 (HKD74). Hopefully we can expect the same prices here in Sha Tin.
Niku Niku Oh! Kome entered the Mainland Chinese market in November 2022, opening its first shop in Shanghai.
