Roganic Hong Kong is bidding farewell to its Causeway Bay location on Sep. 15 and awaiting a makeover in a new location come the end of 2024.
After five years operating in the harbourfront Sino Plaza location, the one Michelin star restaurant is setting off on a finale tour exposing diners to the restaurant’s most iconic dishes in two ‘Best of’ menus.
From Aug. 6 to Aug. 25, their first ‘Best of Roganic Hong Kong’ tasting menu brings back the classic cured Spanish mackerel, Hong Kong pea tartlet, and three yellow chicken to the table for a final celebration.
The second tasting menu, launching Aug. 27 to Sep. 15, includes cherished dishes ox in coal oil, ora king salmon, and the famous 14-day dry aged duck.
“This is our way of paying tribute to the incredible produce, talented chefs, and loyal patrons that have made Roganic Hong Kong a success,” read a statement on the website.
On the move, Simon Rogan, the founder of Roganic London and Roganic Hong Kong said, “It has been an incredible five years at Sino Plaza in Causeway Bay for Roganic Hong Kong and Aulis Hong Kong and I cannot be prouder of all the achievements and accolades both restaurants have accomplished over the years.”
“[W]ith Roganic 2.0, we will have the opportunity to adjust our offering to an ever-evolving Hong Kong audience and are very excited to push the boundaries even further in the years to come.”
The winner of Foodie Forks 2024 Best Restaurant will be opening up in a new location this year, with sister restaurant Aulis announcing its move soon in Q1 2025.
