Mediterranean, Chiu Chow, Japanese, and Chinese restaurants have joined the Hong Kong MICHELIN Guide 2024 as recommended spots to visit in the city.

Revealed every second Wednesday of every other month, the MICHELIN Guide welcomes new additions of Hong Kong restaurants, this time adding JUNO, YUAN, Chiu Ka Banquet, and Teppanyaki Mihara GOTEN to the list.

The guide lauded JUNO’s “concise Mediterranean-inspired menu reminiscent of sunny southern Europe,” whilst praising YUAN’s “vegan and lacto-ovo vegetarian dishes prepared Chinese style and jazzed up by occasional European touches.”

The pork-tripe soup, braised goose in spiced soy marinade, and goose liver are the dishes recommended at Chiu Ka Banquet. Teppanyaki Mihara GOTEN’s tasting menu, which features “less commonly seen griddle items like chawanmushi and donabe with foie gras, crab, fish, or eel,” was also praised.

Rubin Verebes is the Managing Editor of Foodie, the guiding force behind the magazine's delectable stories. With a knack for cooking up mouthwatering profiles, crafting immersive restaurant reviews, and dishing out tasty features, Rubin tells the great stories of Hong Kong's dining scene.
