A first for the cherished local bakery chain, the latest Bakehouse branch, housed within New Town Plaza in Sha Tin, offers dinner service with an all-day-dining menu that’s up for ordering until 9PM Monday through Thursday and 9:30PM on Friday through Sunday and public holidays.

The menu includes a bread section, where the country sourdough and umami butter (HKD48) is a highlight. We can’t wait to dig into the small plates of burrata and hot honey (HKD128) and truffle beef tartare (HKD128) and, on the heartier side, the stuffed crispy pork schnitzel (HKD248) and grilled lobster mac and cheese (HKD298).

A great option for groups is the new All In! menu (HKD360 pp), a selection of eight dishes curated by the culinary team to showcase the best of Bakehouse.

Alongside these elevated comfort-food eats, dinner service at Bakehouse Sha Tin also sees the launch of an assortment of cocktails, from the Hong Kong G&T (HKD90), crafted with home-grown N.I.P gin and Mezzanine Makers tonic, to the elderflower and jasmine tea spritz (HKD90), a fragrant mix of St-Germain elderflower liqueur, vodka, and Bakehouse’s very own sparkling jasmine tea.

Of course, it’s nearly impossible for us to leave Bakehouse without a baked good or two in hand, and at the New Town Plaza shop, there are two exclusive offerings that have piqued our interest: the mango sago bolo bao (HKD28) and Sha Tin honey kumquat doughnut (HKD48).
