Hot on the heels of the launch of its vibrant Gaudí-style renovation and new menu, La Rambla by Catalunya is paying tribute to one of Spanish cuisine’s most prized delicacies – Ibérico pork – with a one-night-only pop-up starring Joselito, Spain’s most prestigious Ibérico producer.

From 6PM on Mar. 13, diners will have the chance to experience the pinnacle of Ibérico with Joselito’s well-marbled, buttery, and umami pluma Ibérica, rare in Hong Kong and indeed throughout the world (incredibly, each acorn-fed Pata Negra pig only yields two pluma loin cuts of approximately 180g each).

The Josper-grilled Joselito pluma Ibérica and Joselito pluma Ibérica and scampi paella take centre stage in the tasting menu (HKD780 pp) designed by chef Rafa Gil to showcase the beauty of Joselito’s Ibérico.

Jesús García, Joselito’s international brand ambassador, will join chef Rafa to host a pre-dinner aperitivo session on La Rambla’s outdoor terrace where guests can savour a selection of Joselito’s premium cured meats, including 60-month-aged jamón Ibérico.

Also included on the tasting menu are creative Spanish bites the likes of eggplant escalivada jazzed up with Joselito chorizo, manchego cheese, and truffle honey, oxtail tarte tatin, and Joselito ham croquette and truffle bikini, plus chocolate mousse for dessert.
