Another cocktail bar paying tribute to its Hong Kong location is Salon Lanson, housed within swanky boutique hotel Lanson Place in Causeway Bay

Dubbed “Hong Kong Odyssey,” the beverage menu features 21 drinks (HKD140 each) developed by head mixologist Manuel Saavedra that are each inspired by an iconic landmark or story related to Hong Kong. The cocktails are available on a rotating basis, with three drinks served each evening.

A must-order is Leighton 33, named after the hotel’s address, a refreshing blend of vodka, cucumber, yuzu vinegar, cypress, and salt. Then there’s the Yum Cha Sour, honouring Hong Kong’s dim sum tradition, and Young & Dangerous, where a heady mix of Earl Grey tea and chocolate make an appearance, a nod to the 1990s Hong Kong film series of the same name.

Enhancing guests’ drinking experience are a series of three rotating sweet and savoury canapé set menus crafted by chef Chris Leung. These bites are refined and delicate, and standouts include the foie gras parfait, Hokkaido scallop ceviche, plancha-grilled prawn, mini Peking duck wrap, and matcha panna cotta.

The food and drink package (HKD350) can be ordered daily from 5:30PM to 7:30PM, inclusive of one cocktail and six canapés.
