A new Italian restaurant has landed in Hong Kong in the form of Primo Posto, introducing meaty flavours from Milan and the north of Italy.

Opened by Florence-born chef Gabriele Fusi, the restaurant embodies a tri-part ethos with chef-driven food, warm Italian hospitality, and community at the heart of the eatery.

Signatures on the menu include the fegatini (HKD128) chicken-liver pâté, deep-fried mondeghili meatballs (HKD98), pumpkin gnocchi (HKD178), cotoletta alla Milanese (HKD568) bone-in veal chop, and bomba di riso (HKD1,388), a baked pigeon ragù and Acquerello rice cake serving four diners.

Primo Posto offers daily aperitivo with Italian cocktails, tipples, and snacks from 5PM till late, with dinner served from 6PM

“In Milan, a ristoro is the kind of place you return to again and again, whether it’s to mark a special moment or simply to enjoy a damn good meal. That’s exactly what we hope to create here,” says chef Gabriele.
