Lung Dim Sum does away with the traditions when it comes to aging interiors in your local dim sum restaurant and brings the colour – both inside the bamboo basket and interior. Starting off with an order of truffle assorted fungus dumpling (HKD36), steamed rice roll with sole fillet in Sichuan sauce (HKD42), and deep-fried dumpling with pork filling & eggplant (HKD32), whip out your phone for a few snaps to capture a slice of modern-meets-retro yum cha.

A favourite for office workers based in Kwun Tong is Flames, a casual dining restaurant with a hint of inspiration for Australia’s cuisine. 8. Four O Five Coffee & Eatery

Another restaurant located inside a factory building typical for Kwun Tong, Four O Five Coffee & Eatery specialises in Instagrammable and cutesy brunch food. Whilst the restaurant interior doesn’t match the beauty on the plate, their food is colourful and toothsome. We recommend ordering the smoked duck breast (HKD98), Spanish chorizo fettuccine with shrimps (HKD128), and slow-cooked chicken drumstick with truffle mashed potato (HKD128) from their lunch menu.
