Bianco & Rosso’s four-course Odyssey Brunch is complemented by a free-flow option focused on vermouth, with an extensive selection of vermouth spritzers, signature cocktails, Prosecco and wine to wet your whistle. The regularly updated brunch menu consists of two starters per diner, one pasta, one main and an add-on dessert. Current highlights include Polmard beef tartare, spaghetti Martelli with Italian sausage ragù and the eatery’s popular whole three-yellow chicken with vermouth chicken sauce.

Chef Stanley Wong has introduced a free-flow farm-to-table brunch experience at CulinArt 1862 inspired by his global culinary journey. Small sharing plates of freshly shucked oysters, KFC (Korean fried cauliflower), salmon poke, beef tartare and more start things off. There are eight delectable main options, with the seared halibut fillet and eggs Bennie (either Florentine or Royale style) coming highly recommended. A chef’s dessert platter rounds out the brunch menu.

Harbourside at Regent Hong Kong
In addition to weekday lunch and daily dinner buffets at recently revitalised Harbourside – located at the newest luxury hotel on the block, Regent Hong Kong – the international buffet restaurant features an even more lavish weekend brunch buffet curated by Head Chef Nicholas Chan. They might be smaller in scale than at other HK hotels of a similar ilk, but this is made up by some of the best-quality buffet items we’ve had in the 852. The offerings run the gamut from sushi, sashimi and fresh seafood on ice, to Chinese and SE Asian stir-fries and authentic Indian curries, to live stations of Japanese eel rice and laksa, to an assortment of beautiful desserts by Executive Pastry Chef Andy Yeung and Pastry Chef Ngan Kin Pong (don’t leaving without trying a slice of the Italian almond cream cake with its addictive panettone-like texture). To match all this indulgence, Harbourside’s iconic harbour views remain.

Ho Lee Fook
Head Chef ArChan Chan and newly appointed Dim Sum Chef Winson Yip have upped the ante at Ho Lee Fook’s monthly free-flow dim sum brunch – Good Fortune Club – with a selection of enticing new dishes. The price tag includes one bottle of champagne per guest, chosen from a selection of eight distinctive vintages. The all-you-can-eat dim sum, Cantonese snacks, wok-fried veg, rice and noodle dishes, BBQ pork and desserts include newcomers like crab, prawn and beetroot dumplings, fried taro puffs with Wagyu and black truffle, mala beef balls with lime leaf, lotus-leaf-wrapped wild mushroom and cordyceps flower fried rice and Ho Lee Fook Mahjong Tiles, a refreshing dessert of tofu sorbet with longan granita, date, goji berry and white fungus.

Holt’s Café at Rosewood Hong Kong
This spring, Holt’s Café has unveiled an all-new Sunday Seafood and Oyster Brunch packed with under-the-sea indulgence. A showstopping seafood platter overflowing with Boston lobster, oysters, abalone and king prawns starts things off in style. This is followed by small sharing plates such as scallop ceviche, hamachi carpaccio and jumbo lump crab cake. The East-meets-West main options range from grilled Spanish octopus, to Thai crab curry, to tiger prawn saffron risotto, while a Cantonese soup of mango-pomelo sago and Rosewood Hong Kong’s signature vanilla mille-feuille are amongst the dessert contenders at this upscale cha chaan teng.

There’s a new free-flow Gosset champagne brunch on at HUE at the weekend, and if you head there on a Sunday, you’ll also be kept entertained with live jazz. The three-course brunch menu includes a selection of sharing starters (ranging from homemade bread with house-smoked butter and black sea salt, to seaweed cracker with smoked paprika and whipped cod’s roe, to kingfish, saffron and fennel salad with gremolata), a choice of main and dessert. Options for the mains include Limestone Coast Wagyu flank steak and a veg pasta dish of angel hair with chive-Parmesan emulsion and black truffle. For dessert, the Aussie-inspired choices run the gamut from nut and seed granola with sago pudding, mixed berries and yoghurt ice cream to strawberry pavlova with lemon curd, white pepper chocolate and basil sorbet.

Kyoto Joe celebrates springtime with the launch of the Sakura-dai Spring Brunch in honour of the brief season of Japanese red sea bream. The menu features bottomless appetisers, skewers and tempura, plus a sashimi and sushi combo that includes red sea bream, botan shrimp and toro, a main (red sea bream nabe, A4 Miyazaki Wagyu sirloin or grilled miso silver cod, for instance) and the chef’s choice of dessert. For groups of four or more, a extra portion of paper-thin red sea bream sashimi is part of the deal.

LPM Restaurant & Bar
Take a trip to the French Riviera with LPM’s new free-flow Sunday brunch, appropriately dubbed La Vie en Rose. The à-la-carte brunch menu at this stylish French-Med restaurant includes a whopping 14 appetiser dishes for sharing, moving on to a choice of main course, side dish and dessert. The starters by Chef Maurizio Pace are delicious and varied, from burrata tartine and Swiss chard omelette to tuna carpaccio and classic escargots glistening with garlic butter and parsley. Squid-ink risotto, grilled sirloin steak and stuffed Provençal-style veg are amongst the main course options, while there are three tempting offerings for dessert – French toast with spice ice cream, vanilla cheesecake with berry compote and the eatery’s signature crème brûlée. We recommend upgrading to the free-flow package that includes a selection of five new cocktails created especially for this brunch; we’re intrigued by the Riviera Blanc, made with vodka, white wine and a hint of pink peppercorn-accented St-Germain elderflower liqueur.

Uma Nota’s infamous O Carnaval Brunch is back with a bang, kicking off the last Saturday in March. On the food front, a Brazilian sharing feast is where it’s at, while the free-flow drink package includes soft drinks, bottled beer, Prosecco, white and red wine, caipirinhas and watermelon sakerinhas. The immersive brunch experience is more than just F&B – expect live performances and dazzling decor, just like they do it in São Paulo!
If you miss this monthly brunch or if you’re simply looking for a brunch option that’s not quite as lavish, Uma Nota has also debuted a new Brazilian-Japanese standard brunch menu that includes a selection of sharing appetisers, sharing main and sharing dessert platter, available every weekend. Also, Uma Nota’s facade is set to be transformed with a new mural by HK-based French artist Elsa Jean de Dieu, who created the boteco’s original mural six years ago, in a collab with HKWALLS Festival.

There’s a fab vegetarian free-flow menu in town with VEDA’s CHA CHA Brunch, placing the spotlight on all-you-can-eat Indian street-food bites known as chaat. These include signatures of the eatery like ricotta and spinach momos and sweet potato samosas as well as new standouts such as avo sev puri (crispy balls filled with chana dhal, avocado, yoghurt, mint and tamarind chutney; pictured), spiced gobi (cauliflower) and Japanese-influenced onion bhaji okonomiyaki. This is not your average brunch – an explosion of plant-based flavours and textures awaits!
