Chef Robert Nilsson makes his debut as W Hong Kong’s culinary director with a revamp of the hotel’s popular buffet options at KITCHEN, premiering new Summer Sensation lunch, dinner and weekend brunch menus.
The award-winning chef worked in luxury hotels and Michelin-starred kitchens in France, Denmark, Sweden and Dubai before arriving at his position at W Hong Kong and has racked up a bevy of awards including Swedish Chef of the Year 1998 and Nordic Chef of the Year 2000. He was also the head chef for several years at the Nobel Prize banquets and has been invited to cook for the Swedish royal family.
Bringing his native Swedish culinary flavours to the menu, Chef Nilsson has created sensational dishes like orange-marinated salmon, infused for over 24 hours and dressed with fennel, dill and citrus. International flavours such as karaage chicken buns, beef tataki, an assortment of roasts and succulent baby octopus salad also share the buffet table.
