Bento Days
Takeaway Hawaiian donburi specialist Bento Days has now launched with a host of delivery-only specials, with 30% off their five signature donburi until the end of August on Deliveroo and foodpanda, covering the areas of Diamond Hill, Kowloon Bay, North Point and Ma On Shan. Healthy, filling and tasty, we particularly like
the sound of the classic Hawaiian don with house poké dressing ($84 with discount), featuring a colourful

Black Sheep Restaurants
We’re already fans of Black Sheep’s own delivery app, GO, providing reliable and hygienic delivery services for their restaurants. But now you can also sign up for the Black Sheep Supper Cult ($1,400/5 nights) to get your weeknight dinners sorted. It’s an easy, five-day delivery meal plan with a choice of a Naughty or Nice experience – for instance, you could be getting beef massaman curry and crispy chicken wings from Soul Food Thai on Tuesday and spicy rigatoni vodka and Mario’s meatballs from Carbone on Friday. Castellana
Winner of Foodie Forks 2020 Editors’ Choice Best New Restaurant, Castellana has recently launched its Casa Castellana service for Piedmont-style fine-dining delivery. Choose from three-course ($280), four-course ($380) and group (5+) à-la-carte menus. Enjoy Castellana signature dishes such as vitello tonnato and carbonara “au koque” in the comfort of your home. Detailed instructions on how to reheat the food are also provided on their website. Delivery is complimentary for orders above $500, covering Causeway Bay, Happy Valley, Central and Mid-Levels; a surcharge applies for deliveries to other areas. Be sure to pre-order for lunch by 9pm the night before and, for dinner, by 11am on the day. Takeaway is also available with a 10% discount.
The Drunken Pot
Hotpot is one of Hong Kongers’ favourite pastimes, so we’re pumped about The Drunken Pot’s hotpot delivery service. The delivery sets (from $596 for 2) are highly customisable, with up to a 37% discount when ordered online. A range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are also available for delivery, including The Drunken Pot’s private-label premium sake from Nagahama. The hotpots are delivered in recyclable picnic-box-style packaging, along with with utensils, a reusable tablecloth and glasses, wet tissues and free rental of the pot and gas cooker.
Fortnum & Mason
Fortnum & Mason is offering its classic afternoon tea for two ($1,176) for home delivery via Deliveroo. This teatime treat includes finger sandwiches, plain and raisin scones with clotted cream and a trio of preserves (strawberry, raspberry and lemon curd), a selection of tea cakes and patisserie and two cups of Fortnum’s Royal Blend tea. If it’s sweet and bubbly you’re after, there’s the scones and champagne hamperling ($458) that comes with two plain scones, two raisin scones, clotted cream, strawberry preserves and a half-bottle of
champers, all zipped up in Fortnum’s eau-de-nil green reusable carry case. Savoury hamperlings ($258) have also been created for picnics at home. Each is filled with a vegetarian, smoked salmon or beef plate, Montgomery Cheddar cheese and butter biscuits with green tomato chutney, a panna cotta dessert and Napolitains chocolates. Holt’s Café
Holt’s Café, the elegant all-day-dining spot at Rosewood Hong Kong, has launched a brand-new delivery menu featuring elevated Hong Kong-style dishes. Delivering to both HK Island and Kowloon, this menu allows customers to choose from favourites such as golden salted egg king prawn ($280), sweet-and-sour pork ($220) and premium char siu rice ($240). JIA Group
Enjoy the fantastic dishes of JIA Group restaurants in the comfort of your own home thanks to their JIA Everywhere delivery service. Spend $800 to enjoy free delivery within Hong Kong Island. Delivery is also available for other areas, subject to a surcharge. Spend $2,000 to get 10% off delivery, with pick-up at any amount getting a 20% discount.
For larger parties, consider JIA’s wide range of meal boxes and sharing sets, including those by STEREO BY MONO – a delivery initiative launched by MONO chef-founder Ricardo Chaneton to bring South America’s complex gastronomic heritage to your home. Two food sets (from $640 for 2) are available that include dishes the likes of beef empanadas, sea bream in banana leaf and coconut flan.
Meraki Hospitality Group
Meraki Hospitality Group has launched its Meraki at Home delivery option to provide restaurant-quality dishes right to your door. Available daily from 11:3am to 9:30pm, BEDU, Uma Nota and Mamma Always Said now offer free delivery service to Hong Kong Island with a minimum spend of $350. You can also order from multiple restaurants at one time. Takeaway gets a 10% discount.
Upgrade your dinner at home with Meraki’s new Ultimate Combo Sets ($380 for 2). BEDU’s combo includes smoky hummus and rack of lamb, Uma Nota’s features roasted tuna and ube cheesecake and Mamma Always Said’s showcases roast chicken and pepper sirloin steak. WhatsApp 6379 9748 to order.
Another delivery option is Meraki’s newly launched weekly meal plans ($575/5 days for lunch; $1,000/
5 days for dinner). Two meal plan options are available – Veggie Lovers and Signature – with each including dishes from all three Meraki eateries. Lunch plans come with complimentary juice shots, while there’s a daily dessert for dinner. Deliveries operate on weekdays for locations on HK Island, with delivery times of 12–1pm for lunch and 6–7pm for dinner. Roganic Hong Kong
In 2019, Chef Simon Rogan’s contemporary British restaurant Roganic Hong Kong was awarded a Michelin star less than 10 months after opening. To get this Michelin-starred experience without setting foot inside the restaurant, check out the Simon Rogan at Home pick-up and delivery initiative. The three-course meal kit ($300/person) changes weekly and may include such wonders as beetroot-cured salmon with whipped crème fraiche, pork belly, pork shoulder and potato terrine and apple tart with toffee sauce and preserved raspberries, along with Roganic’s outstanding home-made soda bread and brown butter. To really gild the lily, add on a portion (four pieces) of the eatery’s already iconic truffle pudding ($150). Heating and preparation details are provided, along with a QR code for you to scan and watch the plating process – simply follow along to recreate the exquisite fine-dining experience. Orders must be placed before 6pm the day prior, with a minimum order of two meals. Delivery comes with a surcharge but is free within Hong Kong Island for orders above $750.
Tate Dining Room
Vicky Lau of Tate Dining Room has introduced a Michelin-starred at-home experience with Date by Tate, presenting decadent pantry items like caviar and truffles, premium wine, Tate merchandise and – the highlight – the Gastronomy Gourmet Box ($880/person), available for delivery Tuesday–Saturday with a two-box minimum. The sleekly designed, zero-waste wooden picnic basket contains Tate’s signature bread basket and a six-course menu for one person. Both the box and utensils are reusable and can be kept for an added $500 – think future picnics! Otherwise, the Tate team will collect the items the next day or you can return them yourself to the restaurant and receive a $150 voucher for future use. Order at least two days in advance. Test Kitchen
Chef Anderson of Test Kitchen has curated a glorious nine-course tasting menu ($480) that comes in a box and is ready to eat right away. The luxurious items include the likes of abalone salad, lobster gyoza, Wagyu beef, mentaiko udon and Hokkaido Raiden melon. Order some sake ($400/bottle) to really live it large chez vous. Delivery is free on HK Island with any purchase of two or more boxes, and there’s a $200 charge for delivery to Kowloon. Click here to pre-order.
The Coffee Academics
The Coffee Academics may be best known for their expertly brewed coffee but they also serve up some pretty fantastic international eats. Now, they’re packing up a variety of semi-cooked gourmet meals and delivering these handy packs all over Hong Kong. TCA Gourmet promises to deliver food that is healthy, hygienic and convenient with sizes from small to extra-large to share with friends and family. Choose from unique creations like the pasta laksa ($88) or the herb-roasted chicken tapenade for two ($168) and classics like the seafood paella for two ($198). The food takes only a few minutes to reheat and cook and each pack comes with a recipe card as well as a complimentary coffee drip bag (worth $25).
Home delivery is available for Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and New Territories and free for orders over $1000. Order online and watch their cooking demonstrations on YouTube. The dishes stay fresh for up to 3 days allowing you to be set for the whole weekend!
Vive Cake Boutique
Renowned for their showstopping sweet creations, Vive Cake Boutique now offers complimentary delivery service on orders of whole cakes (outlying islands excluded). Orders should be placed at least four days in advance to ensure timely delivery.
To celebrate Sanrio’s Little Twins Stars’ 45th anniversary, Vive is collaborating with Sanrio for the new Wishing Upon a Star collection, which includes dreamy cake creations. Shane Osborn’s neighbourood eatery Cornerstone has partnered with premium food distributor Waves Pacific to create the home-delivery Cornerstone Culinary Box ($500) that includes all the ingredients needed to make a perfect steak sarnie – Cornerstone’s Wagyu bavette is a beloved signature – which means 300 grams of Rangers Valley bavette and two fresh ciabatta, plus several other items thrown in for good measure (Ōra King Salmon fillet, two butterflied Brisbane Valley jumbo quails, 10 Taiyouran eggs and a few cans of Peroni). Or go simple and opt for the Cornerstone Sandwich Set ($200) to get the bavette, ciabatta and two cans of Peroni. Order online.
