Though Arts Month is done and dusted, JAJA, one of Foodie’s favourite vegetarian restaurants in Hong Kong, is continuing the artful deliciousness with this special afternoon tea that pays tribute to the wonders of the art world through its colourful and meticulously crafted sweet and savoury bites.

The eye-catching – and completely vegetarian – Taste of Arts tea set (HKD428 for 2) is available daily till May 31. On the savoury side, indulge in mini margherita pizza, one-bite deep-fried risotto ball, and JAJA’s signature Living Maki, plant-based sushi rolls made with local, organic ingredients that include jackfruit, avocado, and brown rice. The highlight for us, however, is the mushroom meringue, a veg version of beef Wellington with black truffle in pastry.

For the sweet-toothed, JAJA tempts with raspberry-chocolate-dipped croissant, apple with cranberry cream cheese, raspberry puff, and rose mousse. Freshly baked scones with jam and mascarpone cream, alongside the coffee or tea of your choice, complete this artistic teatime dining experience.
