In partnership with 7-Eleven in Japan (arguably the tastier of the two countries), the convenience store chain will be driving around Hong Kong from Apr. 10 till 14, giving away free premium onigiri.

A special single-decker (and cute) Japanese bus will be driving around West Kowloon, Kwun Tong, Mong Kok, and Causeway Bay for five days this week to share onigiri flavours such as salmon and sakura shrimp soya, Hokkaido salmon roe, and Japanese egg yolk and sukiyaki beef.

7-SELECT, Hong Kong’s value food brand, is offering deals on the premium onigiri, made from Japanese rice and seaweed, at HKD17 each or HKD29 for two pieces. From Apr. 10 till 16, 7-Eleven customers who buy two onigiri can receive a free bottle of Oi Ocha green tea.

Foodie delivers tasty news, reviews, interviews, guides, and events happening in Hong Kong’s dynamic food and drinks scene.
