Hong Kong’s Brazilian-Japanese eatery Uma Nota is spicing things up with a new à-la-carte menu embracing new flavours that are made to share with a crowd.

Top picks on the dinner menu include the truffle cheese buns (HKD88) and coxinhas de frango (HKD78) chicken and okra croquettes, well suited for picking at in a group setting to enjoy and meaty and truffly flavours.

In the “I Like it Raw” menu section, the trio tartar (HKD158) finds a mix of scallop, salmon, and hamachi tartare that is balanced with yuzu kosho to amp up the sour tones. If you prefer simpler flavours, we recommend the hamachi ceviche (HKD170), washed with a wasabi “tiger milk” avocado cream.

A new dish that has been welcomed onto the menu is the grilled chicken (HKD188), marinated chikcen thigh wrapped in chilli, molasses, and fish sauce that promises a juicy and salty bite. The dish is served with creamy corn and baby spinach to balance the heavy flavours of the bird.
