We love it when good food and drink are combined with a good cause, and that’s the spirit of this whisky-pairing dinner at 7PM on Mar. 11 in honour of International Women’s Day.

Timeless & Tasty has joined up with chef Sandy Keung of her eponymous Central restaurant TABLE by Sandy Keung to offer a five-course menu (HKD1,500 pp) paired with a selection of whisky curated by Hil Ying Tse, the founder of the online whisky shop.

True to chef Sandy’s commitment to seafood depuration, the seafood-heavy menu uniquely combines seasonal ingredients with the principles of traditional Chinese medicine and 24 solar terms of the traditional Chinese calendar. 

Diners can expect innovative dishes like Brittany scallop and threadfin crudo, langoustine and mixed seafood donabe, and, on the meaty end of the spectrum, charred French beef onglet with espresso aioli and mushroom-liquorice sauce.

The five paired whiskies are highlighted by Timeless & Tasty Secret Highland 20 Years, an exclusive bottling to commemorate the whisky shop’s eighth anniversary, and Black Snake Vat 6 Fourth Venom, a special bottling for Hong Kong.

A portion of the proceeds of the auction held during the dinner will be donated to two local charities, RainLily and HER Fund, that work towards empowering women and promoting gender equality.
