After a salty and spicy meal, Hong Kong’s Soho is a calling for a sip out of Asia’s best bars and top cocktails. On your list, a visit to the world’s 2nd best bar, Bar Leone in Soho, is in order to taste a slice of Italy in the East. Head to Beyrouth Bistro in Soho for freshly served Lebanese wraps with homemade bread and sauces. Their lamb kofta, beef, and falafel wraps are their most popular.

Wake up sunshine, it is time to get a taste of real Hong Kong flavours, bright and early in the morning. Your best bet for consuming the morning culture is to pay a visit to Honolulu Coffee Shop in Wan Chai. Founded in the 1940s, the cha chaan teng (Hong Kong coffee and breakfast eatery) is a must-visit spot on any weekend trip here for their pineapple buns, satay beef noodles, and yuen yueng (mixed coffee and tea drink).


Saturday lunch – 12PM – Maxim’s Palace

Think of Hong Kong and Cantonese cuisine and dim sum first comes to mind. For a taste of the posh side of yum cha (the act of eating dim sum), reserve a table at Maxim’s Palace in Central. In a setting fit for kings and adventurous foodies like yourself, we recommend ordering their signature pan fried green pepper, glutinous beef balls, deep-fried pork wontons, and roasted pork belly.

There may be nothing more 2025 Hong Kong than a visit to Bakehouse in Tsim Sha Tsui, one of Hong Kong’s most popular Western bakeries, with more than half a dozen locations dotted around the city. As you battle the lines, you must snag yourself a box of their delicious sourdough egg tarts as well as sink your teeth into their apple crumble danish and vanilla custard doughnut.

Now that you are on the Kowloon side overlooking Hong Kong Island, a visit to Yè Shanghai in Tsim Sha Tsui is a perfect location to catch the 8PM lightshow, a signature of any Hong Kong weekend trip. Here, you can appreciate a menu rich in depth and authenticity to Shanghainese traditions. Order their sweet and sour spare ribs, deep-fried baby yellow croaker fish, and their whole roasted duck.

The fire and salt comes alive with their chilli soup-drenched jhol momos and sukuti chatpate, marinated dried buffalo meat. Do not forget to order their ghorkha chicken, a Nepalese twist on BBQ chicken.
