Each salad portion is priced at HKD25 per 100g and can pack up to four salads in one box. We recommend their sweet and spicy couscous salad, fregola green salad, and colourful bounty for a good balance.

4. Monsieur CHATTÉ

Long-time running French mini-supermarket Monsieur CHATTÉ operates a deli-counter salad bar with a variety of vegetable, cheese, meat, and carb choices. Their salad boxes allow for three ingredients, with a HKD10 charge for any additional ingredients. Their roasted chicken, smoked salmon, feta cheese, and coleslaw with raisins are top ingredients, made even better adding their paprika croutons.

Dotted around Hong Kong are nood food’s physical cafe locations, offering dine-in and takeaway food, juices, smoothies, and juice cleanses. Their small salad box and large salad boxes come with four and six choices, respectively. Our favourites in the rotating bunch are their green bean salad, quinoa and brown rice salad, shredded Sichuan chicken, kale salad with green apple and cranberries, and lotus salad with sesame sauce.

Veggie purveyors of all things Hong Kong produce, healthy chain Treehouse fashion together stellar salads that do not skimp on portion size, flavour of spiced proteins, and abundance of fresh vegetables. We always go for their Banyan salad, packed with grilled tempeh, fried eggplant, hummus, spiced tofu and long beans-heavy Musella, or their Cedar, with avocado, cabbage, roasted pumpkin, and chipotle sauce.

7. Knead

In Sheung Wan, Knead is all about flavour and health with their salads. DIY salads begin with a choice between baby spinach, mixed lettuce, fusilli pasta, rice & quinoa mix, and coriander & lime rice.
