Fireside now ranks as the 18th best steakhouse in the world, according to the meaty voters representing the World’s 101 Best Steak Restaurants.
Landing 70th in 2024 in its inaugural placing on the list, and 50th last year, the Central steakhouse led by chef Jaime Ortolá tops the 2026 list as Asia’s second best steakhouse, right behind Singapore’s Burnt Ends in 9th.
The World’s 101 Best Steak Restaurants guide is published by London-based media company Upper Cut Media House.
Rankings on the annual list are determined by nine criteria, including quality of meat, service standard, curated wine list, online presence, and interior design.
In an Instagram post shared on Mar. 26, the restaurant said:
“We’re thrilled to reach to No. 18 in the World’s Best Steak Restaurants 2026, a leap from No. 50 last year.”
“What an incredible honour! Super proud of our dedicated team and the exceptional producers behind our products. We’ll keep pushing the boundaries in pursuit of even greater steaks.
“Big thanks to our wonderful guests and all our supporters — this wouldn’t be possible without you.”
