Diners will be part of the action at the newly unveiled Chef Table’s, with the kitchen brought into this stylish private dining space on the 102nd floor of The Ritz-Carlton. Cooking up a storm is Ritz-Carlton Executive Chef Peter Find. Born in Germany, Chef Find begins his monthly-changing regional menus by placing the spotlight on his home country of Germany. All menus will feature classic dishes from the chosen cuisines but updated with creative modern touches.

For the month of February, the six-course German-inspired menu presents dishes including pork pâté with herring and Granny Smith apple from Hamburg, Königsberger Klopse (Black Forest ham–wrapped pork loin in a creamy caper sauce), a speciality of Berlin, and Schwabentopf (pork loin stuffed with Emmental cheese and paprika – breaded with edible charcoal powder and herbs and served with braised red cabbage and brandy-infused cherries) from the Black Forest region.

The Chef’s Table is available for a maximum of eight diners. The price tag? Get ready. The minimum spend is $16,000, which works out to $2,000 per person if you’re splitting the bill amongst eight (hopefully very close) friends – that’s some serious spending, but this experience does sound mighty special. Bookings must be made at least two weeks in advance.
